Dear Colleagues,
After a long and careful evaluation of the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, and in consideration of our commitment with the health and safety of our members and colleagues, the ESES Executive Council and the Local Organizing Committee have decided to postpone the 9th Biennial Congress of the European Society of Endocrine Surgeons, which was scheduled to be held in Athens from 28 to 30 May 2020.
We are now delighted to confirm that we have secured NEW dates to hold the 9th Biennial Congress of the European Society of Endocrine Surgeons, hereafter referred to as ESES 2021, on 27-29 May 2021. Please note that due to lack of availability of the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre, the ESES 2021 Congress will now take place at Divani Caravel Hotel, a business city hotel in the centre of Athens.
The extensive planning and preparations for ESES 2020 are completely transferable to the new dates, by which time we anticipate that the thirst for knowledge and personal collaboration will be met with an extremely successful ESES Congress in Greece. In this respect all current registrations for the ESES 2020 will be rolled over automatically to apply to 2021, while accepted abstracts will be presented during the respective sessions on the new dates.
We strongly recommend you to refer to the ESES 2020 postponement FAQ to get answers to your questions. In addition, and should you require any further assistance, you may contact the Congress Secretariat at [email protected].
We sincerely hope that the entire ESES community is able to remain healthy and we look forward to working with our Partners, Sponsors, Speakers and Participants to deliver a memorable event for all attendees.
David Scott-Coombes
ESES President,
on behalf of the Executive Committee and the Local Organisers
